When electrified excitation is not used, the magnetic powder in the working gap is pressed against the inner wall of the active rotor due to the centrifugal force. When the exciting coil is energized, the working yoke is generated along the yoke --- active rotor --- magnetic powder --- driven rotor --- magnetic powder --- active rotor --- the magnetic yoke The magnetic powder is connected in a chain shape along the direction of the magnetic flux, which is called a magnetic powder chain. The magnitude of the bonding force of the magnetic powder chain is determined by the magnetic field strength after the yoke is excited.

Precautions for using magnetic powder brake:

1. Please pay attention to moisture. If the magnetic powder gets wet, its performance may become unstable, so be careful not to let oil or moisture penetrate into the inside. Especially when mounted on a gearbox, the oil will penetrate the shaft through the shaft, so it must be completely sealed with a film.

2. Please pay attention to the surface temperature. The maximum surface temperature caused by continuous operation is 90 degrees or less during operation. When the maximum temperature is exceeded, durability will be greatly reduced. Be sure to use the above-mentioned limit temperature as the standard, and keep it within the allowable sliding working rate during use.
