1.Working mode selection

Press and hold the "SELECT" key for 3 seconds to cycle through the four working modes of constant current (constant current output), constant voltage (constant voltage output), constant power output, and external potentiometer (external voltage control). The indicator light is on or flashing (where the constant current mode indicator light is on when external potentiometer control is selected, and the corresponding indicator light is on when other modes are selected).

2. Constant current mode (constant current output)

First switch to constant current mode. The "constant current output" indicator on the panel is long. At this time, you can adjust the current setting value by turning the adjustment knob. The setting range is 0.00 ~ 4.00A, step 0.01A. It should be noted that if the power of the clutch / brake is small, the current that actually flows through the clutch / brake will be less than the set value. At this time, the controller will flash and display set him to indicate that the set current has not been reached, flashing After this time, it will automatically adjust to the maximum current value that can actually be achieved. For example, if the controller is connected to a 12Nm magnetic powder clutch, the nameplate indicates that the rated working condition is 24V / 1.2A. At this time, if the current is set to 1.3A, the current flowing through the clutch coil is actually not enough 1.3A. The controller will flash the set value 3 times, and then automatically adjust the set value to 1.2A:

3. Constant voltage mode (constant voltage output)

Switch to constant voltage mode, the "constant voltage output" indicator on the panel is on. At this time, you can adjust the output voltage by turning the adjustment knob. The setting range is 0.0 ~ 24.0V, step 0.1V.

4. Constant power mode

Before using constant power mode, you need to calibrate the clutch / brake. The method is to first disconnect the power, connect the clutch / brake, and then press the “SELECT” key while turning on the power, then the controller will automatically detect the maximum power of the clutch / brake. During the calibration process, the "constant power output" indicator will flash, and the detected current value will be displayed on the digital screen. After the calibration is completed, the constant power mode can be used. After one time calibration, there is no need to repeat the calibration in the future (if you change the clutch / brake of a different model, the calibration will be delayed). In the constant power mode, you can adjust the output power by turning the adjustment knob, with a range of 0% to 100% in steps of 0.1V.
5. External potentiometer control (external voltage control)

First switch to the external potentiometer control mode. At this time, the "A constant current output" indicator on the panel flashes, and the controller's digital screen displays the measured current value in real time. In this mode, the up and down buttons on the panel and the adjustment knob have no effect. The output voltage will be controlled by an external potentiometer (or external 0 ~ 10V), corresponding to the output 0 ~ 24V.
