I. Product Overview

EPC-D12 Photoelectricity Correction Controller is a kind of high-accuracy differential and swinging optional correction controller that tracks the edges of working materials or printed lines. EPC-D12 is a large-scale industrial integrated circuit. It has the advantages of strong anti-interference ability, high reliability and long service life in harsh working environments. It is very suitable for the continuous and non-stop production of the packaging industry. It has been widely used in plastic film cutting machines, special material cutting machines, coating machines, printing machines, composite machines and other equipment. The photoelectric correction control system is composed of a correction controller, a photoelectric eye and a motor servo mechanism.

Operation instructions

1. Preparation before running

(1) External wiring, connect the power supply, motor power line, limit switch line, and wire according to the color and number.

(2) The location of the photoelectric detection material must pay attention to the material. The material is reflective light (such as film, aluminum foil, etc.), so the substrate (such as the transmission roller) should be a material that absorbs light and diffuses the reflection (such as rubber roller, cloth, etc.) The larger the color difference, the better. It is most suitable for phase color. The edge of the material should be moved to the middle position as much as possible. The line should also be at the center of the spot of the two photoelectric heads.

(3) Determine the direction polarity of the motor. Press the MAN / AUTO button to select the manual mode. Press the left button to move the motor and move the movable frame to the left. Press the right button to move the movable frame to the right.

(4) Determine the stop direction of the limit stop control motor
* Turn ON the power
* Operate in manual mode (MAN), press the manual direction key, the motor runs, and then the limit position of the movable rack is turned off. Use a tool such as a screwdriver to touch the upper limit position and the motor stops. Valid, otherwise, use a screwdriver to run into the other end of the limit switch, and the motor stops running, which means that the limit switch wiring is reversed and must be replaced.

(5) Precautions for operation: It is not allowed to directly touch the upper limit switch when the motor is running. To check the validity of the limit switch, manual inspection is required, otherwise the mechanical structure of the motor screw will be damaged.

2. Trial operation

(1) Preparation for operation
1. Confirm that the external wiring is correct;
2. Confirm the position of the edge or line of the photoelectric detection material;
3. Confirm whether the motor direction polarity is correct;
4. Confirm that the limit switch controls the stop direction of the motor.

(Two) set the material reference position
1. Determine the position of the material in the photoelectric spot;
2. Adjust the up and down position of the photoelectric head;
3. Adjust the sensitivity positioner and center position.

3.Control instructions

(1) When in manual state, the manual operation mode is valid. Press the left or right button, the motor will rotate forward or reverse, the direction is related to the connected line; please connect the color of the line to set the automatic state Inch, the position of the photoelectric head must be adjusted manually. After the material is aligned, it can work automatically.

(2) Left and right swinging luminous instructions
Adjust the position of the photoelectric head and observe the red indicator light on the photoelectric head. If the red light indicator changes from light-dark-light, it means that the setting is successful. If there is no such state, there is no reference work. When the motor is working in the forward or reverse direction at about the reference position, the indicator light on the controller continuously turns to show the motor's working direction in turn.

For a material, first determine whether its reference position is the edge of the material or a printed line. After determining the tracking edge, then determine the left edge or the right edge, and then decide the polarity change of the motor direction according to the load. For printed lines, the lines above 2MM are generally set as the edge treatment. Otherwise, it is treated as a line.

(Six) sensitivity adjustment

4.Set the material reference position

(A) Photoelectric head adapts to the working environment temperature: 20 degrees to 40 degrees humidity: less than 90%

For edge material: strong reflection of 10-12mm (such as aluminum foil, vacuum aluminized film)
Strong reflection 6-10mm (such as PET film, BOPP film)
Weak reflection 3-6mm (such as paper, cloth)
For line materials: 6-10mm reflection contrast (such as 2mm wide black border on BOPP)
Weak reflection contrast 3-6mm (such as 1mm wide black line on paper)

(Three) photoelectric head installation
* As shown in the figure, care must be taken to fasten the position of the photoelectric head to prevent vibration from causing position changes.
* Note the angle and position of the reflecting surface.
* Avoid direct sunlight, direct light is interfered with the reference surface of the photoelectric head, and the welding environment should not be near the equipment.

Fourth, fault judgment and elimination

(1) The motor does not turn: whether the power supply and motor wiring are wrong, check the power supply insurance, check the push button switch, open the shell and check the control board terminal, and finally change the control board.

(2) The photoelectric head does not light, first check the connection line, and finally check the insurance and power supply.

(3) The set reference cannot be found, check the contrast color of the materials, eliminate the interference factors, and finally open the external inspection test board circuit and replace the test board.

V. Maintenance and inspection

(1) It should be operated by trained staff, and it is strictly forbidden for others to touch the inside.

(2) After the power is cut off, perform maintenance inspection.
