WLK Programmable Power

WLK series program-controlled stable current power supply is a switch-type stable current power supply, which is mainly used to provide the exciting current of magnetic powder brake, magnetic powder clutch, eddy current brake; it has RS232 (or custom RS485) serial interface, and can communicate with computer and PLC controller.
I. Working method
WLK series program-controlled power supply has the following 3 working modes:
1. "way of communication. The RS232 (or custom RS485) port receives data instructions from the computer and outputs current.
2. "Remote" mode. It is controlled by external 0 ~ 10V (or customized 0 ~ 5V) signal and output current.
3. "Manual" mode. Controlled by "manual adjustment" potentiometer, output current.
When the WLK series program-controlled steady-current power supply and the PLC controller form a control system, it is recommended to use the "communication" method, which can eliminate the PLC.

The instrument adopts RS232 / RS485 data communication interface, and provides WLK3B.dll dynamic link library for users to call directly.
The WLK3B.dll dynamic link library includes the get_current procedure and the put_current function. The get_current procedure is used to read the current value, and the put_current function is used to output the current value.

Program-controlled power supply has three data receiving methods.
PL1, PL2 mode:
1. Data format The frame data is 10 bits without parity bits, that is:

PL1 way:
The PLC sends 1 data to the program-controlled power supply, the range is 0-255, and the corresponding current is: 0 ~ range.
PL2 way:
The PLC sends two data to the program-controlled power supply. The two data are the same, the range is 0-255, and the corresponding current is: 0 ~ range; the program-controlled power supply determines whether the data is correct according to whether the two data received are the same. PL2 has higher reliability than PL1. The time interval (t) between the two data that the PLC sends to the program-controlled power supply continuously is about 1ms, which can be selected between 1ms <t <100ms.
PL3 way:
1. Data format The frame data is 11 bits, that is:
Start bit is 8 data bits (lowest first), 9th stop bit is 9th (parity bit), here is the address and data discrimination bits, 1 is address, 0 is data.
The instrument is only triggered by the address, that is, the host computer can only get the response of the instrument when it sends 09H to the program-controlled power supply (09H is the communication address of the program-controlled power supply) and the parity bit is 1. The 9th bit is the parity bit in the computer. The parity setting can change it.
2. The transmitted data host computer sends address 09H to the program-controlled power supply, and the 9th bit is 1; then it sends 1 data, the 9th bit is 0, and the range is 0-255.
The corresponding current is: 0 ~ range. The time interval (t) between two transmissions is about 1ms, and can be selected between 1ms <t <100ms.
Six, description

Turn off the power to complete the communication rules and range settings. For a steady current power supply, its range value is unique and cannot be changed at will.
The range value is set at the factory, and users are advised not to change it.
